Our Fairy Garden

Today the girls and I decided to create a garden for the fairies. While we know that most fairies love natural and nature things the girls thought that the Texas fairies need some glitz and glam. So off to the store to buy our fairies some good stuff.

The biggest part of our decision was what type of house to get them. It had to be the right size, have a door and K wanted to make sure it had windows. Speaking of K it was hard to get her to come to the reality of there really being fairies and keep saying though out the store we are making a fairy house but there really isn't fairies.. Who is going to live there. E on the other hand loved this idea and went in full force telling EVERYBODY in the store what we were up too. While some people nodded and smiled and asked questions we did get a few that kinda looked at me like what the heck is she talking about... Fairies?? I was just hoping they wouldn't spoil something fun that they were looking forward to.

Our Fairy garden consist of a basket that K thought would be perfect for the garden.(why it's lined with a trash bag) They then picked out a house, a bench, a plant, a friend for the fairy, birds and a broom for cleaning up, a  pan for water, and some stepping stones. They couldn't wait to get it home and build it. By the time we left the store K was all about the fairies and giving them a place to sleep.

We got home and while I was tending to dinner they set out to create the perfect "fairy garden". I think they did a nice job considering I gave them nothing to go on. I did have to help with the "grass"after dinner though.
